Annapurna Bhoj sewa
During visits to District Hospital, our volunteers found that family members of the admitted patients stay with empty stomach because they don’t have enough money to arrange food for themselves. This got us thinking as to what can be done to solve this issue?
And then the idea of starting Annapurna Bhoj Sewa came forward. We started providing evening meal to them. One of our volunteer desired to sponsor evening meal for one dayon the occasion of his birthday. This idea was a hit. People from society came forward to sponsor Annapurna Bhojan Sewa on the occasions of their birthdays, marriage anniversaries. Some wished to sponsor these meals in memory of their late family members.
The Annapurna Bhoj Sewa has completed four years successfully and around 80-120 people benefit from it daily.
