Roti Sewa

Bharat Maa Ki Rasoi

What do we do when we some beggar or poor hungry person on the road? We give them something that we have with us, or we buy them some snacks from nearby shop. Do you think they get that lucky everyday to get food to eat? Concept of Roti Bank is the solution to this question. There are many homemakers who wish to serve the society, but can’t do that because of responsibilities of home. We requested such ladies to make few rotis extra everyday to feed the needy people. The sabzi is made by one lady in rotation every day. Our volunteers visit the homes, collect rotis and sabzi and distribute them to needy people seen near bus stand, railway station, temples etc.

The roti bank schedule is arranged systematically, and this sewa continues even in 45degree temperature in summer and heavy rainfall in monsoon.

We have distributed more than 1,60,000 rotis in more than 2 years of functioning of Roti Bank.
